TEACH CLASSES FOR REAL PEOPLE WITH REAL BODIES &  FINALLY KNOW
THE WHY BEHIND EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS ON A YOGA MAT

WITH THE RIGHT TOOLS A YOGA PRACTICE CAN WORK FOR ANY BODY & LAST A LIFETIME

IS THIS TRAINING FOR YOU?

I created D2R because I've been in your shoes. I know what it's like to have a class prepared, only to have five people walk in who, once they've introduced themselves and shared their situations, won't be able to fully participate.

If you teach group classes you know they’re all levels all the time…but the poses you teach and the tools you have to adapt them only work for some people some of the time.

It’s easy to think you’re meeting everybody where they are + including everyone in the room…

I know what it's like to give out blocks and straps, to offer modifications, and to tell everyone to “do what works for you”. You’ve been told that’s what you do to make classes accessible so everyone must be good to go, right?…

...Sure, you're good to go…as long as you don’t look at the handful of people struggling to do the class you've prepared.

There’s a nagging feeling you can’t shake that even your modifications aren’t that accessible not to mention your own lower back + wrist injuries that seem to keep getting worse.

I designed D2R to give teachers just like you a framework beyond the yoga standard box so you can serve anyone and everyone who walks into your classes + have them leave thinking ‘wow, I really can do yoga even though I’m not flexible’.
D2R gives teachers just like you a framework beyond the yoga standard box where you’re currently getting your one-size-fits all cues so you can serve anyone and everyone who walks into your classes + have them leave thinking ‘wow, I really can do yoga even though I’m not flexible’.
  • If you're frustrated that the tools you learned in YTT don't actually solve the accessibility and injury issues completely.
  • If you hate the pit you feel in your gut when you know you've run out of tools to adapt for the real people in your classes.
  • If you're injured and aren't sure how to stop your practicing from causing your S.I. joints and wrists to ache and how to injury proof the classes you teach.
  • If you're tired of planning classes only to realize that you they won't work for the people who've actually showed up but you don't know what to do instead.
  • If you want to overcome that imposter syndrome feeling and instead feel solid and confident, knowing that the knowledge you have will enable you to adapt on the fly and accommodate everybody that shows up that day…
Deconstruct to Reconstruct is for you.
Teaching group classes has never felt this good.

ABOUT ALEXANDRIA CROW

Alexandria is an internationally respected teachers’ teacher who leads teacher trainings and workshops around the world. Through her Yoga Physics methodology she aims to clearly explain the whats, whys, and hows of asana, meditation and yogic philosophy, making the practice approachable for everyone, of every level and of every walk of life. She shares this knowledge with her students and other teachers so they can practice and teach wisely, sustainably and mindfully.

Years of research, scientific inquiry, self inquiry/scrutiny, development and integration have gone into Alex’s work. The result is an evolved set of techniques and approaches that eliminate the problematic components of physical asana practices and group classes while providing an in-depth understanding of how individual teachers situate themselves within these dynamics. In order to move forwards from the current Western paradigm, Alex’s courses add techniques that retain the qualities students love about yoga classes but allow students to engage in personal inquiry with agency at a much greater depth. The class formats and teaching tools that Alex offers are sustainable and accessible for anyone that wants to take class regardless of circumstance and that teach yoga’s philosophy in real time in an experiential way.
